Kani Project

Works created during the artists' residency on Naha Island, Okinawa in 2017. Responding to the source of water on the island where the population began to be abandoned, and then many became crab dwellings. This work responds to visiting sacred locations as a new trend for young residents in the City. Every object were made from object that brought by the ocean to the beach, workshop with the locals to discuss about the pecial type of crab that they remember as a history.

24/7 Solo Exhibition

For this solo exhibition project, an art gallery in the middle of a densely populated housing is closed for 1 month, and at the same time it becomes an open gallery 24/7 via displays on its windows, and vents in the doors are turned into peepholes.
